I have a houseful of product that I’m in the process of reviewing – add me to your rss feed – check back – they are coming.

Products can receive up to 15 points.

Points will be awarded based on the following criteria:

Products will receive a maximum of 8 points based on their Ingredient Safety:

8 – Product receives a Skin Deep Database Rating of 0-2 (EWG – Low Hazard)
6 – Product receives a Skin Deep Database Rating of 3-6 (EWG – Moderate Hazard)
5 – Product is EU Compliant.
5 – Manufacturer is a Signor of the Compact for Safe Cosmetics

Due to the time consuming nature of researching each and every ingredient in each product I review – I rely heavily on the product information listed in EWG’s Safe Skin Database and products that score safer by their rating will be ranked higher with us. By request, I may submit to the database or run through the ingredients myself.

Products will receive 2 points if they are Organic.

Products will receive the following points for each of the remaining criteria:
2 – Product Effectiveness
1 – Texture
1 – Fragrance
1 – Packaging Appearance & Sustainability

In the end – each product will be given a diva rating:

Divaliscious – product scored 13-15!

Diva Worthy – products scored 10-12

Diva Maybe – depends on what you are looking for 7-9

Diva Don’t – Products scored under 7
